- 1 Cup latex paint
- 1/4 Cup Calcium Carbonate (can be found at home depot)
- 1/8 Cup of water
As long as you’re using these ingredients, you can play around with whatever texture feels best. Also, all paint brands are different (I prefer to use Behr) so the consistency will change depending on what you’re using. Watery mixtures are difficult to work with. They require a lot of coats and are VERY drippy, which I find incredibly difficult to work with when you’re aiming for a smooth surface. Add more Calcium Carbonate and paint, and use less water if you run into this problem.
